OFT

On farm testing (OFT) is focused to demonstrate technology in strength resulting yield gains through integrated approach with optimum inputs saving the cost of production against traditional ways of agriculture to promote its adoption in existing farming systems and situations. In this way, the KVK facilitates the research workers in assessing the technology for its adoptability before it is taken up by the main extension system.

FLD

The frontline demonstrations have been designed to show the production potential of modern agricultural technologies on farmers’ field. The outcome of these activities have been computed in the form of number of beneficiaries who have adopted these technologies for enhancing yield optimizing inputs thereby increasing farm income resulted in  socio-economic status of farmers. Even after conducting FLDs, yield gap is recorded at the farmers’ field which still needs counseling & attention
